Sailor moon theme update; ok so it's not a really a big update but it's better than nothing. I'm still working on icons since I think they're going to be the longest and hardest part and I'd like to get that out of the way first. This week I've got 4 new icons. I'm not super happy with some of them but I'm sick of redoing icons so I'm over it.
The first one is a really cute picture of melvin\---- from the first episode. It's been re-done in photoshop but I think it turned out really cute and I'm planning to make another one of him.

The second one is one of Rie/Sailor Mars paper charms. I'm not sure if this one is maybe a little too simple but I'm thinking I might use it for the calendar. If you can think of a better use for it let me know.

The third icon is my fave so far, it's the luna pen and I think it turned out really cute. Some of the line art was a little funny but when shrunk down you can't see it any more.

And last we have a picture of Artemis from when luna finds out he was mission control. He has the little head set on so I'm going to use it for the voice recognition icon. This is the icon I'm the least happy with but I'm planning to use it anyway just becuase I can't think of anything else to use for that icon.

Upcoming icons? I've been downloading sailor moon pictures trying to come up with ideas and I think the next one I'm going to make is the black crystal used in season one by Zoisite to find the rainbow crystals and then maybe the rainbow crystals and the silver crystal. I also want to make an icon of each scouts' henshin wand and sailor moons' tiara but I havn't given a lot of thought as to what those icons will be used for.

Other projects? I'm working on some other stuff but it's all been on the back burner for a few days. Well I worked on these icons, and have been lazy. XD I'm working on a new picture for a contest entry on devaintart http://news.deviantart.com/article/119572/ and I'm planning to start work on those cell phone covers this week as well.
All Jewelry is on hold 'til my next trip to Toronto for supplies, unless I decide to make an etsy order this week.

So I went to Michael's for eye hole pins and lobster clasps for my jewelry this week. They're so expensive there! I couldn't beleive it was $5 for something that should have been $2 at the very most! Needless to say I didn't buy it. I did however get a great deal on clay. It's not the brand I usually buy but it's a very comparable brand and I got it for $1.30, regular $4.00.


I used it to make some rose pins and rings that look really amazing! I'm planning to post pictures but I'm currenty without a camera. My fiend is going to come over later this week to take pictures for me though so look forward to all kinds of colorful pictures!


Other great news, I've been in contact with a new company just getting started in the UK. They make cellphone covers and I'm going to make vector pictures that are going to be on the stickers that go on the backs of cellphones.


This is a pretty big deal for me. Even if I don't make a lot of money ( I'm getting a percentage of everything sold with my picture on it) they found my work and contacted me so thats super exciting all on its own, but the extra money will be a really big deal even if it's not a lot.


I don't think there is really any other news. I'm still working on getting my etsy store up. I sould be able to finish it up as soon as I get some of those pictures taken of all my stuff. I think I have close to $100 in jewelry done now so assuming it all sells that should cover all my materials for the next few weeks. I'm running really low on a lot of stuff. Mostly small things like clasps and pins. I can't wait to go shopping for all the little things I need.


Also I'm thinking of doing a giveaway to attract some more followers. Maybe an overloaded bracelet or a rose ring. I need to give it some thought. So if you guys are interested in winning a prize the giveaway would be for a random person on my list of followers. Is there anything you guys would like? I'd be more than open to suggestions. I want to give away something you guys would like.

Ok, so I know I've been talking about uploading pictures of my sailor moon blackberry theme and so I pulled a few of them off my computer. there are 5 here and I gotta say I was going for a very cartoonish feel but I'm not sure that I like some of the icons. the communicator is a little to cartoonish but it was the first one I made. the others for the most part I'm ok with but the zapped Sailor V turned out to have shrunk down too much to really look that great. I'd welcome any feedback you guys might have.

Real life update time! I'm at work right now on my lunch brake and so far its been pretty slow all night witch is good. :) I work in a call center where we take phone calls for an American cable company and I do the overnight shift from 11pm to 7:30am.

For the most part I like it, but there are some pretty weird calls that come in at 4 in the morning. Last night I got a call about how the church was out to get him because the only channel that was working was the Christian network.

Slow nights are nice though, because I get to talk about glee episodes and boys with my friend Mallorie and techie stuff with my friends Cody and dale. :)

Oh and speaking of techie things, I got my Iphone today. Its in rough shape; the screen is broken and the back is all dinged up. Its not really worth the 75 dollars it would take to repair it so instead I ordered a new screen and digitizer from eBay that came with a kit to disassemble the Iphone. I'm going to try and take it apart and see if I can replace the screen myself. An expensive experiment but if it works it will be worth it. I expect the kit to get here in about 2 weeks so I'll keep you guys posted on that.
